Hi. Great looking mod, but I have a couple of suggestions for the village. While you have crenallations around the walls, there don't appear to be any archer platforms. I'd either lose the crenallations or make it so there is somewhere for archers to stand on the walls. Personally, I think having high walls around a village of this size seems out of place as well, but I don't know the society of your world.
Also, you have houses arranged much like terraces. Doesn't seem quite right like this to me. Again, the society of your world might work with this, but to have got this kind of constuction would imply a bigger place, more like a town than a village...though if you had lots of farm buildings etc outside the walls, this would fit.
Other than these, great looking mod. Can't wait to try it out.
Hey, thanks for the feedback, its greatly appreciated.
With regards to the crenellations they are currently in the wrong position in the screenshot, i.e. there situated at the wrong edge of the wall, as the wall is thick enough for potential archers to walk upon, so hopefully when we move them this will address that problem.
I do agree that the size of the wall and structuring of the village does lead to more of a town feeling than a village, but this location in the world is supposed to be kind of an 'in-between' between a village and a town.
To give you more of an idea the village is a trading village i.e. it receives goods from the port cities to the east and then distributes them to the western town/cities, so in that case its more of an outpost. The village also serves as a training camp for the Border Guards, who guard the northern divide between the Kingdom of Darynia and the Jukul wasteland at Fort Jayl so it does have a military presence, as if Fort Jayl was overrun Riverside would be the next in line.
Hope this answers some of your questions.
And once again thanks for feedback and support.
